Privacy notice

This notice explains what happens to your information when you visit dukesmatcha.com, the website of Duke's Matcha, 2720 E Plaza Blvd, National City, CA 91950 ("we", "us"). The short version: this site has no accounts, no forms, no cookies and no advertising or analytics trackers; everything on the page, including the typefaces, is served from our own domain. We do not sell or share personal information.
What this website collects
The website itself collects nothing about you. It does not set cookies, does not use analytics, advertising pixels, chat widgets, session recording or any other tracking technology, and does not ask you to enter any information.
If you close our small privacy notice, your browser remembers that choice in its own local storage so the notice does not reappear. That setting stays on your device and is never sent to us or anyone else.
Information that reaches other companies
- Hosting (Cloudflare). The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request in order to deliver the site, keep it secure and measure performance. Cloudflare acts as our service provider and handles this data under its privacy policy.
- Map (Google Maps). The map in the "Find us" section does not load by itself. If you tap "Show map", your browser connects to Google Maps, and Google may set its own cookies and receive your IP address; see Google's privacy policy. Nothing from Google Maps loads until you tap.
- Links to other services. Buttons and links to Instagram, TikTok and Google Maps take you to those companies' sites or apps, where their own privacy policies apply. Nothing from those services loads on our page until you choose to follow a link.
- Email. If you write to us at [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you send. We use it only to reply and keep it only as long as needed for that conversation. Our email is provided by Google (Gmail).
If we add analytics or advertising tools later
We may one day add a visitor-counting tool or a social-media advertising pixel. If we do, the site will ask you first with an Accept / Decline banner, and nothing will load unless you accept. You will be able to change your mind at any time through a "Your Privacy Choices" link in the footer, and this notice will be updated to name the tools used.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA, as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to:
- know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and request access to it;
- ask us to delete personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate personal information;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do not sell or share it);
- limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect any);
- not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with "Privacy request" in the subject line. Because the only personal information we could hold is an email you sent us, we verify requests by replying to the address the request comes from. You may use an authorized agent; we will ask the agent for proof that you gave them permission.
Global Privacy Control. We treat a browser's Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of sale or sharing. Since we sell and share nothing, there is nothing to opt out of today; if we add any tools that would count as sharing, the signal will automatically keep them switched off for you.
Categories of personal information. In the past twelve months the only personal information handled in connection with this website has been: identifiers and internet activity (IP address, browser type, pages requested) processed by our hosting provider to deliver the site; and email addresses and message contents sent to us voluntarily. We have not sold or shared personal information, and we do not have actual knowledge that we handle information from anyone under 16.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this notice
If we change how the website works, we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
